Tuna Patty Salad

with avocado and lime sauce, tomato, cucumber and bell pepper

1. Setup Cut the cucumber and the tomato into cubes. Thinly slice the bell pepper into strips or cubes. Chop the shallot and the capers. Drain the tuna.
2. Prepare the tuna mixture Put the tuna in a bowl with the capers, half of the shallot, the egg, the panko, salt and pepper. Mix.
3. Cook the patties Warm up a generous drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Form small patties with the tuna mixture. Squeeze lightly to extract as much water as possible. Add the patties to the pan and cook 2-3 minutes on each side or until browned.
4. Make the sauce In a bowl, mix the guacamole with the juice of half a lime to taste, a generous drizzle of oil, a pinch of sugar, 1 tsp. of cider or wine vinegar, salt and pepper.
5. Plate your dish Mix the lettuce with the vegetables and garnish with the tuna patties cut in 2 or 4 and the sauce. Bon appétit!
