1. Cook the fries
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Cut the potatoes into fries. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Add a light drizzle of oil, salt and pepper. Bake in the oven for 28-32 minutes until browned.
2. Setup
Cut the pickle into very small cubes. Chop or tear the nori sheet into small pieces. Cut the tofu into sticks. Cut the lemon into wedges.
3. Prepare the tartar sauce
In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the pickle, the juice of a quarter of a lemon, salt and pepper.
4. Prepare the batter
Put the panko in a bowl. In another bowl, whisk the soy cream with the flour, nori, soy sauce, lemon pepper and a pinch of salt. The mixture should look like a pancake batter. Dip the tofu sticks in the batter. Let marinate a few minutes if desired. After, coat with panko.
5. Cook the tofu
Heat a drizzle of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the green peas and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add salt and pepper. Remove from the skillet and keep warm. Add a generous drizzle of oil to the pan. Cook the tofu sticks for about 1-2 minutes on each side until browned. Place on absorbent paper.
6. Plate your dish
Serve the tofu sticks with tartar sauce, green peas and fries. Add lemon juice to taste. Bon appétit!
