1. Setup
Chop the onion and cilantro. Remove the tails from the shrimps.
2. Cook the onion
Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium high heat. Cook the onion, raisins and spices for 1-2 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
3. Add the shrimp
Add the rice, shrimps, cinnamon stick, green peas, broth cube, canned tomatoes and 2 2P | 2.5 3P cups of water. Add 1 tbsp. of sugar. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover and cook 12-15 minutes until the rice has absorbed the liquid. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
4. Plate your dish
Serve the shrimp rice and garnish with yogurt and cilantro. Bon appétit!
