1. Adjust the steps of the recipe for your children
2. Cook the meatballs
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Mix the pork with half of the oregano, salt and pepper. Make 3 to 4 meatballs per person. Place on a lined sheet pan and bake in the oven for 15-18 minutes.
3. Setup
Cut the tomatoes, bell pepper and feta into small cubes. Thinly slice the cucumbers and onion. Grate the garlic. Slice the lemon in half.
4. Make the salad
Mix the tomatoes with the cucumbers, bell pepper, onion, feta, remaining dried oregano, a generous drizzle of oil, 1-2 tbsp. of wine or cider vinegar, salt and pepper.
5. Mix the hummus
Mix the hummus with the sour cream, garlic and the juice of half a lemon.
6. Plate your dish
Serve the meatballs with the hummus, salad and pita bread. Bon appétit!
