1. Setup Preheat the oven to 425°F. Chop the basil, the onion and the garlic. Reserve a few basil leaves for garnish if desired. Put the tomatoes in a food processor and grind until reduced into a chunky sauce.
2. Cook the meatballs In a bowl, mix the ground pork, the panko and the eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Make meatballs. Add a drizzle of oil in an oven safe pan, on medium-high heat. Cook the meatballs in the pan for 2 minutes on each side. It's possible to make a few smaller balls so that children can have several, rather than a larger one. Remove from the pan and reserve.
3. Cook the onions In the same pan, cook the onions for 2-3 minutes. Add the orzo and season with salt and pepper.
4. Make the sauce In the same pan, add the garlic, half of the basil, the crushed tomatoes and 1 2P | 1.5 3P cups of water. Bring to a boil and add the cream. Lower the heat to medium- low and cook for 2-3 minutes.
5. Put in the oven Put the meatballs back in the pan and sprinkle with cheese. Cook in the oven for 12-15 minutes.
6. Plate your dish Serve the meatballs in rosée sauce. Garnish with basil. Bon appétit!
