Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki

with ramen noodles, Savoy cabbage, carrot and green onion

1. Adjust the steps of the recipe for your children To help your children with the development of their taste, start by make them participate into the preparation of this recipe. They will thus better understand the use of each the ingredients. It's actually an omelet with noodles! Let them taste the sauces before adding them to their plate. If it's important to introduce new flavors to our children, it's also normal that they don't like it the first time!
2. Setup Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Grate the cabbage and the carrot. Chop the green onions.
3. Cook the noodles Cook the noodles for 1 minute. Drain.
4. Make the mixture In a bowl, mix together the flour, egg and 100 2P | 150 3P ml of water. Add the cabbage and the carrot. Add salt and pepper.
5. Cook the okonomiyaki Heat a drizzle of oil in the pan over medium heat. Add half the noodles. Cook for a few minutes until slightly crispy. Remove from the pan. Repeat this process with the rest of the noodles. Add half the okonomiyaki mixture. Cook 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and place on top the noodles. Repeat with the rest of the mixture.
6. Plate your dish Garnish the okonomiyaki with the tonkatsu sauce and the mayonnaise mix. Top with green onions. Itadakimasu! Bon appétit!
