1. Adjust the steps of the recipe for your children To help your children discover and develop their taste buds, try putting together a taco bar. Tostadas are crispy, and children sometimes have difficulty eating them. But served in the form of nachos or tacos, children are sure to love this recipe! The coleslaw can also be deconstructed, making it easier for your children to pick and choose what toppings to put on their taco. Place everything in the centre of the table and let everyone serve themselves.
2. Setup Mince the cabbage and the green onion. Chop the cilantro. Cut the pepper into strips. Drain the corn.
3. Make the salad Mix the cabbage with the pepper, half of the green onion, the cilantro, the juice of half a lime, a drizzle of oil, salt and pepper.
4. Fry the tortillas In a pan, heat a generous drizzle of oil over medium-high heat. Fry the tortillas 1 minute on each side until crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.
5. Cook the fish Season the fish with paprika, salt and pepper. Add to the pan and cook 2-4 minutes on each side. Place on a cutting board and cut into pieces.
6. Plate your dish Garnish the tortillas with the mayonnaise to taste (spicy), fish, coleslaw, corn and the rest of the green onion. Add lime juice to taste. Serve the remaining coleslaw as a side dish. Bon appétit!
