1. Cook the fries
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Cut the potatoes into thin fries. Put on a lined sheet pan. Drizzle with oil, season with salt and pepper. Cook in the oven for 20-26 minutes.
2. Setup
Chop or mince the onion, whichever you prefer. Thinly slice the lettuce and pickle. Set aside some of the onion for the burgers; the rest can be added to the fries for more flavor.
3. Cook the beef
Mix the beef with the spices, salt and pepper. Make 1 flat patty per person. Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 6-8 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Add the slices of cheese on the beef and cover. Let the cheese melt for 2-3 minutes.
4. Plate your dish
Heat the buns to taste. Add the sauce, onion, lettuce, patty and the pickles. Serve with the fries.
