Chicken Shawarma Salad

with tahini sauce

1. Setup Chop the garlic, the lettuce and half of the parsley. Slice the shallot and the cucumber. Cut the tomato into quarters. Separate a few mint and parsley leaves. Cut the lemon in half.
2. Cook the chicken In a bowl, toss the chicken breasts with the spice blend and a drizzle of olive oil. In a skillet, over medium-high heat, cook the chicken breasts 2-3 minutes per side. Lower the heat and cover. Cook another 12-15 minutes.
3. Make the sumac shallots In a bowl, combine the shallots with the sumac and the chopped parsley.
4. Make the sauce In a bowl, combine the tahini, the lemon juice, to taste, the garlic and a drizzle of olive oil. If the sauce is too thick, add a little water.
5. Plate your dish Serve the chicken with the lettuce, the tomatoes and thecucumbers. Garnish with the mint and the parsley leaves, the sumac shallots and the sauce. Bon appetit!
