1. Cook the potatoes
Preheat the oven to 425 °F. Put the potatoes in a pot and fill with enough water to cover. Add salt. Bring to a boil and cook for 10-12 minutes. Drain.
2. Setup
Thinly slice the mushrooms. Chop the garlic and the rosemary.
3. Put the potatoes in the oven
With a glass or a flat surface, lightly smash the potatoes. Spread the potatoes on a sheet pan covered with baking paper. Drizzle with olive oil and add the rosemary and garlic. Cook in the oven for 15-18 minutes or until brown and crispy.
4. Cook the mushrooms
In a pan on medium-high heat, add a drizzle of oil. Cook the mushrooms 5-6 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from the pan and reserve.
5. Cook the burger
In the same pan as the mushrooms or on a grill, on medium-high heat, add a drizzle of oil. Form 1 patty per person with the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side. Toward the end of the cooking, add the slices of swiss cheese and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
6. Plate your dish
Assemble the burger with the beef pattie, the mushrooms and the BBQ sauce. Serve with the crispy rosemary and garlic potatoes.
