1. Setup
Cut the apples into small cubes. Slice the bagel in half.
2. Cook the apples
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the apples with the brown sugar for 4-5 minutes. Add the maple syrup and 2-3 tbsp of butter. Cook for 3 minutes. Remove from the pan. Keep the same pan to cook the bagel.
3. Cook the bagel
In a bowl, mix the egg with the milk, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Dip the bagel in the mixture for 30 seconds. Add a drizzle of oil to the pan and cook the bagel 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
4. Plate your dish
Serve the bagel on a plate and garnish with the apples and caramel.
