After more than 11 years of being part of your weekly mealtime routine, Cook it is about to begin a brand new chapter. In early June, Cook it will officially become Fresh Prep!

But don’t worry — this is far from a goodbye. In fact, it’s the start of something even better. This transition is a continuation of everything you already know and love, just with a new name. 

Same heart. Same values. Even more on the horizon.

We may be changing names, but everything you enjoy about your Cook it experience is here to stay — and getting even better.

From crowd-pleasing classics to exciting new flavours, we’ll continue to offer a wide range of meal kits and ready-to-eat meals to suit most lifestyles and dietary preferences—all made with high-quality, thoughtfully selected ingredients.

• Convenient to the core

We’re still your go-to for fast, easy meals, from breakfast to dinner. Whether you’re looking for easy food recipes, meal prep shortcuts, or heat-and-eat solutions, we’ve got you covered. Our pre-chopped ingredients, ready-to-eat meals, and grocery staples mean you can spend less time prepping, and more time enjoying.

• Sustainability first

Our Zero Waste Kits, reusable cooler bags, and ice packs aren’t going anywhere. Sustainability has always been at the heart of both Cook it and Fresh Prep—and we’re committed to doing even more. Look out for more Zero Waste Kit recipes on the menu and an update to compostable paper packaging for our prepared meals this summer.

• Accessible and flexible

Easy ordering. No commitment. Free home delivery. Everything you appreciate about our simple and stress-free service is staying the same.

From early June, mostly what’s changing is the name.

Over the past several months, we’ve already been joining forces with Fresh Prep. Many of the features you’ve recently enjoyed — new recipes, sustainability improvements, added convenience — were brought to you by Fresh Prep.

In other words: this transition has been happening gradually, with you every step of the way.

So what’s actually changing in June?

• The Cook it website will automatically redirect you to the Fresh Prep website.
• You’ll manage your account at freshprep.ca using your same Cook it username and password.
• You’ll start to see new colours, fonts, and branding — but your experience will remain the same.
• Your orders will arrive in Fresh Prep cooler bags, and all emails and receipts will come from Fresh Prep.

And rest assured, everything in your account will remain unchanged:

• Your future orders
• Your dietary and delivery settings
• Your Fresh+ Rewards points
• Any gift cards, discounts, or credits
